Dr Rose and Dr Zaborowski’s ophthalmology practice is at Chelmsford Medical Centre 3, St Augustine’s Hospital in the heart of the medical precinct of the Berea in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a general ophthalmology practice offering a broad range of laser eye surgery services, including cataract surgery, LASIK (laser refractive surgery), corneal surgery and transplantation and treatment for diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
The practice is well-equipped with state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic machinery, including optical coherence tomography, argon and yag laser, Pentacam tomography and collagen cross linking.
Consultations take place on Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Surgical procedures take place at the St Augustine’s Hospital Outpatient Department and the Umhlanga Eye Institute on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Laser refractive surgery is done on Fridays at Lasersight in Umhlanga Medical Centre.
